![]() Players can use their characters and cars at both the arcade and home. But if Sega can manage to integrate the arcade experience with the home console version, it would actually make the game more popular. Wouldn't making this game risk the sales of Arcade Stage? On the surface of the subject, it would. DLC Market: Allow players to purchase new content (new cars, courses, or avatars) and set up a market to allow players to trade/buy/sell their tuned cars for D Coins/Points. Wheel Compatibility: All Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec wheels should work with the game. Synced Data- Home console version and arcade version should share the same data (allows players to use same profile and car both at arcade and home) All courses that Initial D has raced on: Arcade Stage 8 currently is still missing Real Usui, Eina, Shomaru, Yabitsu, and Maze. Legend of the Streets- Race against other racers to prove who is the best of all. Improve upon the laggy lobbies from Extreme Stage. Online lobbies- allow players to race against random players or people they choose. The game should be a port of Initial D Arcade Stage 8 with additional contents such as: Story Mode- Complete story from the beginning of the manga to the end. If the game is successful, they can translate and release the game out into other regions. Sega can release the game in Japan and Asia regions first to test market. Additionally, PS3 and X360 will be 10+ years old. If Sega releases this game by 2020, there will be much more players on PS4 and XBone. I understand there are more fans with last generation consoles (Wii, PS3, X360), but because PS4 and XBone support Direct X 11, the game can be more cost and time efficient to develope simultaneously. How should Sega implement this game? The game should be released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One to support current generation consoles. With the recent releases of Final Stage, Arcade Stage 8, and the upcoming movie, Initial D can spike its popularity with an addition of a home console game by letting fans take home and play a game based on what they love. ![]() The reason fans fell in love with Initial D was because of its story line, not just the cars, tracks, and gameplay. Fans expected the quality of Extreme Stage to be on par or even better than Initial D Special Stage, but instead was greeted with a mediocre port of Arcade Stage 4 Kai. Why should Sega make this game? Initial D Extreme Stage fell short of praise back in 2008 because there was a lack of story mode and additional contents. I'm tired of waiting on Sega and want to let them know that now is the right time to make this game. The reason behind this petition Fans have been eagerly waiting for Sega to announce a home console version of Initial D Arcade Stage since the release of Arcade Stage 5 in 2009. Why should you support this petition? Are you a fan of Initial D or Arcade Stage series? If yes, then you should support this petition because I believe that Sega can deliver us a true quality Initial D game for home consoles again like it's a "love letter" written to Initial D fans throughout the world.
